Guided Nature Hikes
Come explore the wonders of Old Glory Ranch and learn about our history on a guided hike with naturalist, Jamie Kinscherff. Enjoy spectacular views & river walks, identify native plants, learn about the geology and discover fossils (and there is always to possibility of seeing turkeys, deer, armadillos and other wild animals!) as Jamie takes you to different areas of our 2,200 acre ranch that spans from River Road to FM 32 (Devil’s Backbone).
Group Tours:

Half day tours are also available at an additional cost. Availability can depend on weather, rain, freezing cold, etc. In the heat of the summer, we try to schedule them for the morning.
Stargazing
Jamie has a great telescope, working knowledge of the night sky and has hosted events for the Wimberley community. Stargazing parties usually are 1-1.5 hours, must have an advanced reservation and are based on availability. Stargazing can be affected by weather, cloud cover or cold could cause cancellation.
